The Guardian (Kaufman)

 

I've made a practice throughout my career of not explaining my intent. I feel like, I mean, I feel like it's irrelevant. I'm not writing an essay about race relations or virtue signalling, I'm writing a novel, and I have a character in it, and the character has this personality. And that's the book.
